SCAM. Claiming to be from Virgin Media. Wanted access to my computer, to check my router. They did have my name and customer ID. I contacted virgin media, who informed me that they do not make such phone calls, unless we, the customer, requests it.
Silent call, Had three calls from Northwich area with different numbers in two days. Left phone to answer, they don't leave a message but stay silent before hanging up.

Just answered a call from this number and was told they were looking to speak to S MacDonald which is myself. They said they were calling regarding a personal matter on behalf on a mutual client but could not tell me any more information until I confirmed by details. Had a call from this number yesterday. At the other end of the phone was a robotic recorded voice allegedly calling from HMRC to say that I had carried out fraudulent activity and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I pressed 1 and followed the instructions. These people need to be hunted down and hung up by their dangly bits in my opinion. Real scumbags preying on the vulnerable!
