Strange message from person named Lana, saying taking daughter to Aquarium this weekend and wanting to know if they were interested in coming. This number has been reported to o2 as spam. Unable to say if this is a spam number or genuine number sending message by mistake ... although i see it has now been reported 4 times in on day so i suspect its a Scam of some sort.
They cut themself off mid-sentence after what sounded like someone shouting. Very heavy Indian accent.

SCAM - pretend to be calling to book me for a conference at ExCel London in November because I have previously attended it before using a Manchester local number. Started with the call will be recorded and they have called earlier this week with a different number. When asked how they got the number hung up the call.

Rude insistent person wanting me to answer questions. Todays living or something they said they were. I ended up hanging up.
According to person on other end of call, they were calling with regard to the problems I had logged with the local housing officer. I had done no such thing so this is obviously a scam call

Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.

Fraud Call claimed to checking on possible fraudulent payments from a bank card (one to Amazon, and one international), and inviting me to press 1 to continue. But as it was left on answering machine this could not be done. No card provider specified and they didn't address me by name. On checking, no such payments have been made from any of my cards.
Received a call from this number.. recorded message of woman’s voice saying it was from Bank security.. That my bank had a request from Amazon for £200+ and bank transfer for £700+ and to cancel press a digit. This number came up as 2 sets of numbers, one was a long number, and another this one I am reporting below it(that is what alerted me) when ringing. This seems to be a scam, someone pretending to be someone's child, saying 'Hi Mum, this is my new number. My phone doesn't turn on on anymore so now you can text and call me on this number'. My child would not write like this. Please be aware.
