SCAM. Insurance claim related scam. Claiming to be on behalf of Aviva. Rang from a similar number that I had blocked previously. Rang on Christmas Day on a special number that I have that noone knows about outside a small circle of family members (hence my answering thinking it was a Scottish family member - Glasgow number), so they must be getting number to call from EE direct as they asked for me by name. Worrying.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. SCAM (automatic) message about 'owing £79.99' for Amazon Prime - received two calls on same day.
This number rang me saying I had been in an accident last year and my number was on the accident database. The guy called Jason then said there was an unclaimed payment due to me from the otherside s insurance company. I ve had no accident and no one owes me any money. I hate these calls!!!

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on.
