This number along with different 4 digit extension numbers on the end can call me up to 3 times a day. I finally answered one of them to tell them to stop ringing but it is automated and they dont say who they are. I ended the call as they ask you to press a number to proceed but I daren t!

Call center SPAM Said they were calling to ensure I'm not overpaying my bill but didn't have my details and was rather rude.
SCAM HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. We can confirm this is a scam and you should end the call immediately. This scam has been widely reported and often targets elderly and vulnerable people.

Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest.
