Just had a call from this number, which my phone identified as potential fraud, so didn't answer it. Cheked on here and it looks like there has been a lot of activity from this number.

Caller advised his name was "Stylus" and calling from Vodafone about a promotion. Was clearly a scam call highjacking M to Gos phone number.

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. This phone number has been an issue with my house phone. This number has appeared on my VM bill for the moths of Oct, Nov,Dec,Jan ,Feb and March before I realised I had not made the call. It appears every 12 hours as a call that lasts less than 1 minute and each call is charged at 39 pence . Does not sound a lot until you add it up over the period of time which then accounts for over £60.00.

Cold calling offering "debt advise", was rude when I said I had not requested these services and told me I must have done it a while ago. Told her I didn't and I didn't appreciate them cold calling me, nor not telling me the name of the company.

Scammer claiming to be from O2, offering to reduce my bill by 30%. Didn't confirm my name, if it matches the account holder name, or any account details besides the phone number (which they'd just called, so duh...). Just started asking for the verification code they send you by text when accessing your account. The one where the message specifically states not to give the code to anyone, even people claiming to be O2 staff... Probably not calling from Edinburgh either, probably a spoofed number.
