Idiot using local area code, calling about a road traffic accident. Hung up when I asked where he got my number. I ve now got a whistle to blow down the line!

Caller hassled me to be put through to my wife - She has never solicited any contact from them.

I let the phone ring. When it finished I called 1471 and got the number 08001114612.As with others, I got no answer when I called the number back.

I had a call from an immigrant this morning saying that they were from Microsoft, and that there was a big problem with my computer which they needed to fix. At this point I told them that they were too late, as someone from their number had already called me about the problem yesterday and fixed it for me. HMRC scam as usual

Two to three calls a day on my mobile for a week so far but they never leave a voice mail. I called back from another number and just got a looped recording saying "Integrity, Quality & Growth; these are our core values" with no mention of who they are so clearly not a legitimate or honest company. After the first call added them as a contact with a silent ring so they can keep on as long as they like and I won t be bothered.
