Yet another number used by the fraudsters who claim money to be taken from account
Phoning persistently over the past few days from different numbers. Some kind of survey scam, but they hang up as soon as you deviate from script. If they call, don t give away any personal info: don t even confirm your name. Instead, try to politely find out their company name and address. Then send details to offcom / TPS / your MP etc (perhaps with a similar level of persistence?), until someone does something. It s just an idea. Good luck!

Fraud: Automated answer machine telling me that my NI number has been frozen, Really!!!! they called a random work phone that quite a few people use it. I put the phone down after 30 seconds.
Total idots ,stop them wasting peoples time, calling my mobile whilst I was in a meeting. Goodbye and thats all.
Said they were from Sky and that the internet was going to be turned off due to suspicious activity.
Someone claiming to be from British Gas, but I called British Gas and they had no record of anyone calling me!

Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. Scammer/Junk: Said he was from EE and said they had a 35% discount, which is odd because I had just upgraded with EE. Then asked me how much I paid on my last bill, to which I said 'well if you are EE you should know' - Upon which he got sheepish and hung up. Caller ID says it is from Bodmin. This is not someone from EE yet are touting themselves as if they are, as such this is fraud.
