Called by this number on 5th may. I`m told my someone has tried to take two payments totaling thousands from my account. The man did`nt mention my name but said he`d transfere me to another department. If the transaction was wrong. He also did`d mention what card or bank was being threatened. Since I rarely have more than £50 in the bank , Itake it as a case of rotten cheese.

Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.
The message said “DEADLINE! We have been trying to contact you RE your PPI claim. We are now aware of how much you are due. Reply POST for your pack or End to OptOut” Just please don’t fall for it. It’s fake :)

Our Director said he won t take the call as he has no ongoing business with Altus and no imminent need.
