I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. SCAM. Caller stated himself to be from the "UK Claims Department" which the UK's Financial Conduct Authority states to be unauthorised to conduct financial matters within the UK. From a mobile number too - no legitimate company would allow that. You're now warned!
Showed up as international call and the voice was a transatlantic male one. He sounded like a recording even though he wasn't, and was very slick - when I corrected him for addressing me by my husband's name he said he was 'a little dyslexic' to try to wrong-foot me. He tried to tell me about a door and window replacement scheme. As he knew my address I asked him to write to me about it - of course he won't!

After looking into this more, turns out this number is linked to what is known as a locksmith scam. They will over charge and drill out your lock and damage your door instead of just lockpicking it. They are not on the MLA Approved Locksmiths. Although, if you are happy of being overcharged as hell, I am a victim of this scam, but they did come out within 15 minutes, gotta give them that.
