I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.

I have nothing to do with foreign markets, customers or suppliers, so I never answer calls from the UK (+44 prefix). They call several times a day, never leaving an email/Skype message. The number kept being "busy" when at first I tried to call back. Now I m just ignoring it.

SCAM This is a call centre saying it is a courtesy call due to an appliances warrantee expiring, on this instance it was a washing machine, so quite believable. They wanted £65 per year for another 3 years full cover. It sounded very genuine until she said that she wanted me to tell her the name and make of my appliance and i said that i was ok and didn't want to renew the warrantee as i'd had it for over 5 years, then they just hung up and the line went dead. Telling me I have had two withdrawals from my bank - one being from Amazon for £300 and the other for a couple of thousand from abroad. I had a phone call from (supposedly local) yesterday also saying this! Ignored it.

Complete scam going on since last year and Halifax cooperating as they are fully aware and do nothing to share this information with credit agencies and other banks.
This number is one of a number of similar numbers calling one of our staff with a recorded message claiming to wnat to sell PPI , loans and claiming to be linked to Nat West No person ever actually speaks and th UK rules on this type of thing. I suspect this number has been hijacked by a untrustworthy marketing organisation abroad

I ve received two calls from this number but did not pick up. No message was left. I then googled this number and found this. Time to take these people to court!
Recorded message claiming that two charges had been received by my (unnamed) bank, one for Amazon (yawn!) and one for (unnamed) "Money Transfer". Obvious scam. Why can't these people find something useful to do, preferably a long way away?
