Had a call today from this number.... Just missed the call so rang back. Answerphone said all advisors are busy etc etc, but no company name given.
called on me on mobile asking my name and address and saying that I had been in an accident over the last year (I haven t) I laughed at the caller, told her I don t drive (which I don t)and don t have a car (which I don t). She insisted that I had reported an accident to an insurance company (again I haven t). SCAM Someone called “David” called trying to sell me a mobile phone contract. iPhone 13 pro max, 24 months with unlimited data, minutes and texts. For £40 a month. When enquired, came up with nonsense which made no sense. Asked for network provider, my name, and starting asking family names. Of course gave fake names and realised I knew they were scammers. Swearing dialogue commenced, said they were from Sri Lanka which seems nonsense. Accent sounded Indian. Called back on different number

Call with an offer of payment protection insurance. Very dodgy. Never give your credit card details to a caller! No idea where they took my number, anyway.
Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL
