Insulation I answered the call on third time of receiving a call on this number. Asian guy asking for my details to determine if I qualify for a grant for lift insulation. As this was a completely cold call I told him to remove my details from his list of contacts and to not call me again (yeah, right, like that’s going to happen!). I then hung up.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

Venesta Washrooms - The same person calls our office 3 or 4 times a week asking for various people s phone numbers (Quantity Surveyors I understand, but they will ring for Site Managers, Labourers, HR, Accountants etc.) and then calls back the next week asking for the same information - she has asked us for one QS s number 4 times in the last week alone! Do not answer this number, they are a nuisance!

I will report this to HMRC and the police action fraud website. This looks 100% like a local number - but beware - it is NOT. It is a computer voice purporting to be from Amazon to say that I have been charged £399 for a phone, and to press 3 to confirm my details. When will this type of call be stopped??
