Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. The only was they said they could take the payment was from a ukash voucher. Straight away sent alarm bella ringing. I would advise anyone to ignore this number.

(Sorry - chose the wrong rating on first submission) Two calls today from this number, both using the same script on home security. Asked for me by name on a business line which is CPR listed so legally should not receive any unsolicited sales or marketing calls. They introduced themselves as "Crime Prevention Officers" looking into recent spate of burglaries in area and gave the impression they were connected to the police if not actually officers. Never had an account with sp. Don t even know how they got my phone number yet they re constantly calling and asking I pay a debt of over £1000 for an address i have never even hear of. Told them they have wrong number yet still get phone calls up to 6 times a day.
HMRC scam threatening legal action if you don’t call (oddly, this same number) or appoint a “criminal barrister” to call immediately.

indian sounding lady called today, used my "nickname" that I don t use professionally, said that she was calling from Microsoft and that the technical team had noticed a problem with Windows on my computer. When I said I was an IT graduate with several years of support experience and that her story did not add up, and that she was calling from Watford where Microsoft do not have an office, she strangely put the phone down on me!

SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. He same recorded American Male voice started talking, saying he was someone calling from HMRC to discuss a case with me, and to call him back before "the lawsuit" against me went to "local county court". Apparently a market research company based in Ashford, Kent. When I have to give my phone number to a company (bank, etc) I don t expect it to be passed to ANYONE - even a company doing research for whoever I gave my number to. I especially hate being called at 1900 - 2100 hrs and the phone not ringing long enough for me to answer it, even if I wanted to. Especially annoying if I m actually expecting someone to call and then the phone goes dead . Don t need this harassment at my age.

Got a cold call from this number. The caller had a Welsh accent and said he was calling from the company Insure For Less. He wanted to discuss home insurance with me, but I said I wasn t interested and asked to be taken off their call list. What do you know, they called again the next day as though I would change my mind. Very annoying!

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

Caller stated that I or my husband had completed their medical information sheet within the last 12/18 months, which we had no knowledge of. He then went onto what aches and pains we suffer with, as this was part of their survey. Again we asked how they had our ex-directory telephone number, which he refused to answer. He was very persistent and we are concerned of a confidentiality breach of our personal medical information. We subsequently visited reviews of their website and comments about this companies

No company has sent me a letter re need for payment, the 1 company it could?ve been doesn?t use capquest so I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt again.
