they were trying to sell me a clip-on device for my phone to stop cold calling! how ironic! they were also asking for personal information. I just gave up in the end and politely but firmly told them to not call back.

I ve had several calls from this number, but each time I ve not answered. As with other comments, I believe that this number is associated with a PPI claims company. Finally, I have to say that they are extremely persistent!!!

Have been phoning me persistently for the last few months! Yesterday instead of instantly telling them to go away, I tried to find out who they were & why they were calling....

English girl asked if I d been in an accident, when I said yes, she put me through to her supervisor who was clearly outside of the UK. She asked if I had got the name of the person that hit me. When I suggested that it was her that had hit me she hung up.

After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
