Got a call from that number today they left a message saying they were Bank of Scotland fraud department

just received a call from 08000232588 caller identified himself as an agent for SKY, knew my current account type and monthly bill, also expiry date for my package tried to offer me a better deal to continue for another twelve mnths when my current package expires, I asked him to call back at amore convenient time. i received a call from this number stating my ip address had been compromised could I please confirm my ip address. when I asked who called they hung up.

Someone called but on answering the line went down. If it had been a bad line they would likely have called back - they didn t. Probably a scam call.
