Called about a traffic accident within "the last few years". When I asked for the registration no of the vehicle concerned the caller hung up!
An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

It’s a loud room and he stated he is in Hong Kong…weird when the so call advert isn’t available, I told him he’s cold calling and it’s illegal in this country and responded by saying why I haven’t hung up…(I’m stopping him phoning someone from being scammed)
This number keeps calling many times a day. At first they said they were Talk Talk but after we told them we knew they were trying to scam, they now keep calling and then hang up.

08452868745 called my landline at 11:41 on 22 July 2015 claiming to be from I-talk saying his name was Lee and he needed to set-up my free calls which should have been done. I said we are with BT. He answered do you think I would be calling you if I didn’t know that, also saying he had permission from Bt to make these calls. He also added surly you need to save money. Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.
