Claimed they had a file about the car accident I was in, but when I asked them for my name they were unable to answer it. I can only assume it was a very small file with just my telephone number lol. Reported the call to ico.org.uk.

They said their number was 02032867657. They tried to get me to run something on my computer but I declined. They asked me to run something else to confirm my customer number and I declined again. They said if I didn't comply there'd be a court action against me but I still declined. When they rang off I rang BT straightaway and they confirmed it was not them and they said they would never ask for such a thing.
