Call from Indian Call Centre to house phone. Caller refused to give name and asked general questions. I cut him off and told him the call was being monitored and recorded. Phone went dead immediately ! !

This number called my mobile. Before I could answer it rang off. On phoning it from landline it is unobtainable. Possible scam of some sort?

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Missed the call so did 1471. Was told the number does not exist. Double checked and got told "this number does not exist" Not the first time I ve had this type of call...still don t understand how I get calls from a number that doesn t exist!
