SCAM - Random Google authenticate request at 3am that I haven't requested
I get multiple calls from these per day for the past several months. I usually don t pick up but today I did. They got my name wrong so I told them they had the wrong person. When I asked who was calling they didn t respond and insisted on asking me a few questions. I refused so they hung up before I could tell them to take my number off their data base.
calls then hangs up. just block it
This is a charity called Coco.

SCAM It's a call from "Microsoft" stating hackers have been attacking my windows machine. I managed to keep the guy on the call for 4 minutes until he realised I was wasting his time when he asked if I'd seen event view before... I work in software development, hopefully wasting his 4 minutes stops another person falling for underhand tactics.

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. Put my mobile next to TV and she soon hung up. I don t mind they are paying for the call. TV sound seems quite effective with most unwanted callers.

A woman called saying she was from my internet provider and the line would be getting cut of, she then suggested that I press one and speak to a supervisor, this is the third such call today. |I of course put the phone down but I'm sure these calls will continue until the police take it seriously and stop what are dangerous attempts to defraud.

Top Line Marketing - cold calling
My partner received numerous calls saying his number was on some guys girlfriends phone we quickly realised it was an automatic recorded voice as if you don t speak it carries on speaking as though having a conversation ect. We got bored and hung up and then the same number called my mobile it highlighted as spam on the call but I answered but it was some American woman saying my number was on her guys cell (hmm funny there was no caller area code just a blatant UK mobile number that called) we had the same
