Someone rang asking about my boiler, and wanted to know how old I am and if anyone lived with me, and what sort of house I had.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. This number rang me saying I had been in an accident last year and my number was on the accident database. The guy called Jason then said there was an unclaimed payment due to me from the otherside s insurance company. I ve had no accident and no one owes me any money. I hate these calls!!!

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.

I have been called from this number roughly four times a day since the 3rd of this month, no messages are being left and I refuse to answer a call from number I do not recognise as this can lead to more trouble.

21 Oct 2021 - This call left a message stating my National Insurance number was under fraud investigation and would be blocked and any assets frozen unless I press 1 and speak to an advisor. My advice would be if anyone even thought it was real to call HMRC first and speak to real authorities.Reply
