It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. Received an automated call from this number today on my landline, saying there were 2 suspicious transactions on my card one on Amazon, and the other for a International Money Transfer. Press 1 to accept, or 2 to Talk. Suspect call, as mentioned no customer name or bank name, and usually the landline is not used for any such services. Nevertheless checked with Banks. No such information being processed.

This is a renewal scam phone number. Do not call them. You haven't been billed for renewing Norton (even if you are using it, this number is not Norton). They even claim the number is "toll free" - which it isn't. Also, this is not a term we use in the UK anyway, we would say it was a freephone number. The scam usually involves you logging in to your on-line bank, then them showing you that they have overrfunded you (by blanking your screen then manipulating the contents of the page).
