Not quite fraud but disgusting. Called my elderly mother and told her he was from Hell and coming to get her. She promptly told him where to go in no uncertain terms and blocked the number!

Had this number, 01619390228 call me a few times recently, they don t let the phone ring very long, have never left a voice message and on trying to call the number I get an engaged tone, will try to get to my phone quicker next time to answer, reckon it s a scam call, shouldn t be allowed !! Showed up as international call and the voice was a transatlantic male one. He sounded like a recording even though he wasn't, and was very slick - when I corrected him for addressing me by my husband's name he said he was 'a little dyslexic' to try to wrong-foot me. He tried to tell me about a door and window replacement scheme. As he knew my address I asked him to write to me about it - of course he won't!

Got a call from this number saying they are from HMRC and I have criminal record for outstanding tax payments. They said if I don’t pay today over the phone a warrant will be out for my arrest.
