Rang off when I answered. Rang back to get an answerphone purporting to be Oxfam. Highly annoying. I already give regularly to Oxfam but I ll reconsider if these calls continue.

Called about tax fraud and etc
An Asian female called and was very difficult to understand - something about a survey. Replied "No thank you" and I hung up. Number now blocked. We are registered with the TPS, but these calls still get through.
They call every single day, multiple times a day. I do not usually answer but today I did. Pointless... why call some one to leave an automated message claiming it is urgent!
The person swore at me down the phone because they could not get any sense from me because I could not get any sense from them at all.
Safe number, they had called the incorrect number, apologised.
Call saying Amazon were taking £79.99 from my a/c and press 1 to cancel the transaction or 2 to speak to advisor. I put phone down. I notice callers are introducing themselves with very English christian names, when clearly have Asian accents.! When challenged, they end the call.
SCAM Fraudsters are spoofing this number, please beware. If in doubt, hang up and call the number on a different phone, ie mobile or landline. Do not use the same phone as fraudsters can manipulate the line.
Scam - states that they are a government agency who have a warrant out for your arrest.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. They use any data they can get to bug you typically to begin with by using automated dialers and recorded style messages. They do not check the age of the data or if they do they ignore it. Automated caller claimed to be from HMRC, about a warrant in my name for tax fraud. It told me to press 1 immediately or else I would be arrested.
I answered on their third call. Liam tried to be my friend, then wanted to know if I was insured. I thanked him for his concern, and told him the conversation was over. Then hung up.
