daily harassment! 9 times out of 10 from numbers starting 07794. No company has sent me a letter re need for payment, the 1 company it could?ve been doesn?t use capquest so I assume they are chasing a statute barred debt again. These people rang my pay as you go mobile I have for emergencies.I don t often give out my number but it is registered as a contact number with my dogs microchip details which comes with 4 weeks free insurance.

These people will just not go away. They are trying to get your personal info and they are crap at it. Presumably they are better at paper fraud than they are at acting. I don t know how they make any money but they must do because they keep calling back or maybe they are as stuid as they sound. They sound drunk half the time. Usually they say they are fron Benefits UK and they call using lots of numbers so you can t block them for long.

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers. Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. Exactly as the Anon below. Have called every day this week asked to confirm business owner s name and if they could speak to them. When I asked what it was regarding he said he was from Blacks Brokers and it was about a letter they had sent him. No letters have been sent I open the mail. Scam artists.
