25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. Called various numbers in our office. Hung up quickly when asked who they were calling for. Scammers,and useless scammers at that.

indian sounding lady called today, used my "nickname" that I don t use professionally, said that she was calling from Microsoft and that the technical team had noticed a problem with Windows on my computer. When I said I was an IT graduate with several years of support experience and that her story did not add up, and that she was calling from Watford where Microsoft do not have an office, she strangely put the phone down on me!

had two calls from this number this morning claiming to be from BT - the first one was from Gavin and the second from Hannah - both had a non english sounding accent

Phones stating they were installing legally needed smart meters which are not legally needed became very aggressive in manor and trying to sell a free product which is available from most energy suppliers

This number called today and I didn t have time to Google it before answering. Said they were from American Express, only asked for half my postcode and they knew the type of card I held and how long I have had it. He was trying to sell an identity/credit rating protection (Platinum protect plus I believe). He was polite, when I said I wasn t interested he was pleasant.
