The number 0800 852 190 has called me several times in recent months. During that time I have had numerous calls from people selling PPI reclaims, claims for accidents I did not actually have (!), a wine investment company a property investment company, and other calls, all of which sounded like scams or telesales speople. Debt collector, I think this is a check up call from Oxford TV licencing Enforcement Division to check if someone aged over 75 and still forced to buy a licence is still alive, The caller asks for you by name and when you say yes they make some excuse about not being able to hear properly saying they will call back later.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 08437132xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range? Don't call them back, it can be very expensive.
