The usual mid afternoon silent call, the distinctive mark and likeness of incompetent Indian scammers, nothing missed here for sure and that s without a single word being heard, even the number spoofing was a bit half assed although at least they got the format right for all that s worth.

Told me he had detected my wireless connection was slow and they had been monitoring it for two weeks on the DNS server. He said my computer had a virus and needed me to connect to the internet so he could fix it. I told him I was an IT manager and he was talking nonsense and to go forth and multiply. He rang back and replied likewise and called me derogatory names. Don t be fooled by callers from this number telling you your computer has a virus. Hang up!!!

Just had a call from this number, they hung up as soon as I picked up the phone!

This phone number never answers also Printer Inks never answer an email. Definitely a scam going on here.

Called regarding an accident I d never been in. Told her to remove my number and was in the process of telling her this is the 2nd time she s called. She hung up mid sentence, bloody cheek!

This number has called me today 08/11/2018 for 5 times between 10.56 to 12.44 UK time but because I blocked any number started the code +441, it is all rejected.

I have no idea who called me. It rang once. I picked up the phone and the caller was gone. I do not know if this is nuisance call, scam or a mistake. My number and all other ones are recycled. It could be a mistake.

Saw the random number and predicted immediately it would be an insurance scammer. Sure enough, English sounding girl on the phone asking about recent accident. I told her I don t want to participate in her scam. She paused a few seconds and told me she was just calling from an insurance company (didn t actually say a company name). I told her no she wasn t. Tried a free app called call zapper today! I m sure there s loads similar ones available too! Answer silently (you have to be somewhere quiet!) then press home button and really quickly open the app then hit the FAX button and it plays the fax tone down the line to them! Let s see if it results in my number being deleted from their database! Give it a try and post up here how you get on!! PS It s not my app or anything (!) just sharing something I hope will work! JL

I get at least 1 or 2 missed calls from this No. a day.. I am a Vodafone customer but I haven t actually managed to answer the call so I am not sure if it is Vodafone as per the other comments. I wouldn t call back as I have heard of many scams where they charge you LOADS to return the call for 2 secs of call time. If it was that important the person would leave a message or write to you in the mail. As far as I am concerned we are not missing out on anything here by not answering the calls.
