Caller with Indian accent said she was calling from "Global Support" because they had identified that my computer was running slowly and they would fix this. She asked me to go to a website www.teamviewer.com. I said I didn t know her so would google this first, before going onto an unknown site. She hung up. They won t say why and keep stating that it s personal to my husband despite me pointing out that he has his own number and wouldn t have used mine. When I said that they couldn t speak to me husband the arrogant bloke said they would just keep calling me!! I ve now saved the number so I can red button them...

Took ages for them to answer once I d answered the call then on a very bad line asked if I was Miss (First name) (Middle name). I m not a Miss and presumably they know I might not have the same surname they have for me anymore. I m always sceptical of people using my first and middle name so hung up but it didn t sound like his English was very good.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Ignored. Interesting point about raised by people on here about Gumtree being connected with how these companies get your number. I too have advertised on Gumtree and receive a lot of nuisance calls from the Greater Manchester area.
