Woman called and stated that she is from Alpine Services. She said that she was informed that I recently had a car accident and whether this was correct. I said "no" and hung up. Mind you, I don t even have a driver s license for UK and certainly no car.

Glen phoned this morning saying he was rep for this area for renewable energy told him we had loft insulation and double glazing then the line went dead rude and surly man!!

Called about a problem they had detected with my computer. Total scam.

Really weird, rang and asked for my daughter whom banks with co-op. Left her a message asking her to call 08448448899 ASAP as there was a problem with her account. She rang them later and they had no record of anyone calling her nor was there any problem with her account.

They have called me five times in the last hour even though i have ignored the call each time

I normally let unknown numbers go to my voice male .. Any idea who this is

when I answer a call from this number, they automatically dial another number which I would no doubt have to pay for if I did not hang up immediately. I hope these kind of calls can be stopped. I have, in the past, been called by the same method and have been charged for a premium rate number.

called several times saying I had money due to me from a loan I had over 10 years ago..never had a loan, scammers when I told them I thought they were scammers hung up on me...says it all

Called twice today. Answer machine kicked in and there was no message. From what others have said I believe it is a junk call and am getting fed up of so many.

calling trying to sell mobile phone + contract ,seems a bit dodgy cant call them back or find the number , say there voda phone

this the 2nd missed call from that number, next time they call I'ma tell them to do 1. these type of random numbers usually want money or u owe them something

Rang and hung up when answerphone cut in.

After being scammed before are very wary of cold calls and scams. However, this one was picked up without really looking or thinking but I must say this seems a dangerous one because this did sound almost genuine with (as above, claiming to be HMRC). In our case, the line just went dead after it told us to press one to speak to an officer. This is one that could catch unexpecting people out so be careful! We keep it as rule that if in any doubt, ONLY answer numbers that are 0800 or gov numbers (030) unless

Unsolicited call. I just hang up when they mention timeshare.

Recorded voice, say that they are from talktalk and they are going to cut off broadband. I have had many of these crap calls, sometimes multiple per day.

This Asian prat, after asking me my name said in a thick Paki accent. "I have not rung to tell you anything" So I said in that case **** Off and put the phone down. But I was right; this cretin is from Londonistan where 4 out of five residents are from foreign descent. I know of no one in London so why ring me if it s not to try and con money out of me. i waited until out of office hours and called 0114 700 0889. it directed to the Voicemail of Amelia Hernandes. i believe these guys are professional scammers.
