Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . I said this was simply not possible, and demanded to know where they had gotten my contact details from and they hung up immediately. Two weeks later, another call. I managed to keep the guy on the call for 4 minutes until he realised I was wasting his time when he asked if I'd seen event view before... SCAM Phone number 07871921169 called at 09.30 this morning. A recorded message with a female American voice purporting to be from Amazon informing that a £399.00 phone had been bought using our account - if this was not so "Press 1". Did not press 1. Have checked our account and no such transaction had been registered.
Unrecognised number so I didn't answer. Going by the map above, originating in a field north of Blackburn.
Said they were from carphone warehouse (a redundant company) and were trying to sell me a new contract despite my contract not being up for renewal.

A few minutes after my last nuisance call, which was from the Talk Talk impersonators, I got this one - from the p.p.i. pests using a number they had not used for me before. Only a couple of days ago their recorded message was saying it was their final attempt to contact me, but telling lies is habitual for them. I estimate I have had a hundred calls from these people. I look forward to the day they are prosecuted. They are making money out of people s naivety so I hope they get fined heavily.
