This company ring every day on a different number as I keep blocking them all. Had a quote for windows last year, apparently was a local company! I have no idea who called me. It rang once. I picked up the phone and the caller was gone. I do not know if this is nuisance call, scam or a mistake. My number and all other ones are recycled. It could be a mistake.

Received an abandoned call on 22/03/2023. I called back and they immediately knew my name as they could see my number (despite it being withheld). After much persuasion on my part, they told me they were DIRECT AFFINITY EUROPE and had been given my details by a Hull motor dealer (D.M. Keith) to chase a 'lost sale'. But I had told D.M Keith that my number should never be passed to any third party!

I was asked to speak tot he business owner so knew straight away it was a cold call to which I said no thank you and put the phone down. To which the caller rang back and was somewhat aggressive the next time stating that I had put the phone down on him and that he would e-mail my director telling him what I had done then proceeded to hang up on me. Having read the previous comment, there is no surprise why he behaved in this way!

I am registered with TPS and received an incoming call. The number is now blocked on my mobile, but they will simply change the incoming number to something else in a month or so. My list of blocked numbers is now around 40, a lot of those being duplicated by the same companies. They need to be regulated against, but when you can visit sites that provide a service telling you if a mobile phone is switched on or not (meaning that the mobile operators are selling this information) what hope do we have!?
