Claimed to be from nationwide, hung up on me when I wouldn t tell him my post code.

Rude Asian man telling me about a problem with my computer. His supervisor called me back and asked why I had been rude to his staff. I told him that he was rude by saying that he would put a block on my computer and I would have to pay to get it working again. The 3rd call was just shouting at me in a foreign language. Calls 4 and 5 were silent but I could hear the same people in the background.

Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!
