My wife entered a competition on Heart FM where charges stated £1.00 plus your standard network rate. She then received over 200 texts from this number and £150.00 addition on our phone bill. I m still fighting this now

Called claiming to be from Worldpay and asking for someone who doesn t work here. She got the wrong person in me! Oddly enough when I said we already use Worldpay (which is true) she backed off. I would say possibly not Worldpay - but anyway just AVOID!!

Unlike the preceding reports of nuisance calling, someone from this number just tried on a criminal scam with me, which I quickly recognised from a prior attempt a couple of years ago: Offer of a "refund" of ?2000 compensantion of a Barclays loan mis-selling - all nonsense, as I havent had any kind of loan in years. The scam is that you will get ?2000 couriered to you, but you have to write some kind of money order to make it all happen - I didnt give them time to give all the details, as I soon recognised

Unsolicited call to my mobile using my first name which I don t use! (which is only shown on electoral roll)The caller (male) was unprofessional telling me I have had a loan refused and am struggling with debt- UNTRUE on both accounts, he was bordering on being very rude so I cut short the call.
