Fraud, text ostensibly a Hermes delivery missed and asks you to click on a link - which is not genuine.
Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Very aggressive male caller refusing to listen. ended up telling him (very rudely) to go away and hung up

I received a series of five unsolicited calls over a two month period. No conversation, just the sound of people talking (in English)in the background, then hung-up.
SCAM Called said they were from O2 and were offering 50% discount on my bill. I thought I would go along with it (I'm not with O2) because the longer they are on the phone to me, they aren't scamming someone else. Sent me through to the supervisor who said they would send me two text messages, one to put my details in and another with the discount code. SCAM - pretend to be Airbnb wanting a confirmation payment working as part of a group advertising false flats via Facebook marketplace for rent to be booked through Airbnb for a couple of months before going onto a rental agreement with the ‘host’ - once money is paid they say that someone from air bnb will be in touch to hand over keys and sign agreements etc but never hear from them again.

Automated voice stating they where calling from HMRC and that there was a fraudulent case against me and if I did not press 1 immediately then a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.
