Text message supposedly from Apple saying my monthly subs have been deactivated, and click the link to reinstate the payments. Idiots. As if Apple would send this message using a mobile number.
I was called by this number on 16/2/23 at 10.13am. The caller claimed to be from my broadband supplier and said there were problems with my broadband. I said I had no problems and didn’t understand how they could try to con people in this way. Same number called me again at 11.48am, 12.16, and 13.22. These were silent calls. Clearly I annoyed them, but I’m fed up with these calls. How do they know who my broadband provider is ?

Called about 11am this morning. Well spoken female voice with English accent said she was an official energy agent in the area and asked if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.
