Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

called me 4 times this afternoon everytime i told them i was tps registered. each tiem they just hung up as soona s i mentioned it. on the last one i held off telling them about the tps and made up gibberish answers to their ridiculous survey and told them i was 452 years old and then dropped the tps bomb. I get calls from this number, when I asked where they got my number from was told the standard lie "opt-in data" or "they bought a list of numbers". These people are liars as they wanted to help me reclaim money IF i had taken out any credit - I have never taken out any credit so they are just trying their luck and calling anyone and harrassing them. I received a call from a man who himself as an employee of Consumer Helpline - spent Reactive Media. Supposedly I would have paid a lot of money, which would be paid back to me now. I asked him to whom exactly I should have paid the money and just hung up.

This is a scam. If your card is stolen and HSBC calls you, they wouldn t ask you to call back. I received a call from this number AFTER I cancelled my card. I terminated the call when I realised it was a scan. I didn t call back and didn t receive another call. A genuine fraud department would call again.

i took the call for someone else on their phone, and asked for more information from the company. Was told it was a personal call, when i could hear it was a call centre. The lady refused to give me any info and she told me thats its okay she will phone on the other number she has, tutted and was rude!
