The number is very similar to the genuine Monzo bank contact number. There is only a difference of the last 2-digits of the phone number. They will trick you into believing that your account is not safe and needs to upgrade the security of your Monzo account, asking to transfer your money into a 'safe account' they provide.

He asked us to go to the computer to check something but we explained it wasn't next to our landline. The caller was extremely rude and told us we were wasting his time then hung up!
