IT CLAIMS TO BE A BT NUMBER

They call through the exchange using a local number so the number changes

Called twice today, first time no answer, sounded like call centre, then they hung up. Did not answer second time.

Received a call from this number. It is a text messaging service used by several companies, some legit others not- my old dentist in my case.

calling at 08:06am up to 20:45pm daily they don t leave message so have blocked it also same number ending 118..

This number has been calling intermittently for months. Really annoying! I think I've managed to have it re-directed to my junk voice mail.

When I stopped the call and tried using 1471, the tape was still running and over ran the call I was trying to make.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, it rings a couple of times and hangs up, Ive tried calling them but they hang up the phone.

They phone few times a daymgiving different reasons for phoning, phoning for cancer research, then foreign legion, then sales, it tends to be the same voices trying to disguise ...

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. They don t really declare that they are a broker and ask for information on your energy bills. Having established they are a broker, I told them we have an energy broker we are very happy with. Call centre noise in background caller doesn t speak then hangs up. i dialled 1471 and called them back to be told (without even asking who I was!) that their colleague had been trying to get hold of me . Then put in hold. I just hung up

It was a recorded voice. It told me I could get free calls on my phone and the asked me to press various buttons which i didn?t. Don?t answer the call.

Robot voice pretending to be from BT, saying we have detected malicious activity on your IP address. Strange, as I aren t with BT, and ironic, as the call is a scam itself.
