Advertising scam for some Community magazine ... making out I had been spoken to early in January and had agreed to some advert or other .... became quite indignant when I told her she was a scamming cow and to F off and bother somebody else !
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back.

020 8077 5322 this number has been ringing me all day up until a few minutes ago in fact...I never answer numbers I don't know figure if it's that important, they'll leave a message. This time I called the number back to see who it was; got a recorded voice telling me I'd reached lotto direct and to please hold while they transfer me to agent. I hung up immediately and came here...guessing they've acquired a new number but same ole scam...thought I would share...

Said they were calling from Local Trade Directory on Google, when I asked for more information they got a bit confused and asked to speak to the owner of the business. When I asked who that was they hung up. Beware, obviously scammers
I never answer these numbers. Always check sites like this first.???? Keep in mind delivery scams work because people often expect parcels. If in doubt hang up. Ring back using another phone, if possible.

Said he was calling in regards to an accident I had in my car last year, I said I had not had an accident. He then went on to tell me that I had and someone had bumped my car. When I said again I had not been in any accident, he hung up. Using an Edinburgh number but the people are always English so assume it's a call centre based there masking their number.

Automated call ... Apparently my national insurance has been compromised, didn't hang around long enough to find out how... the thing that puzzles me is how the callers have gotten hold of so many UK mobile telephone numbers which these scam phone calls come from... its only a few digits different from my own telephone number... discombobulating!!
