Automated call saying it was visa security ringing about 2 payments on a card. Saying press a button to speak to an advisor. Not a genuine call
this no keeps calling me every day saying they are from EE & trying to sell me phones & tablets etc. they are nothing to do with EE and I think they are a scam.
Claiming to work for Microsoft saying there is a virus in my pc. Had a good half hour of fun saying I couldn’t get the pc to work before I dropped the bomb of not having a pc, called me a bastard before hanging up ????

They have clled us several times on our TPS registered number asking to speak to a certain member of staff who no longer works in this department. They ve been told this every time but are apparently too stupid to understand.
Hard to understand as the man had a very thick Indian accent, was calling from the fraud investigation department of ? On balance of probability i felt it was a scam call.

Fraud- said it was the sheriffs office in Scotland. Told them I was a police officer and they put the phone down.
Called 4 times in one day! I thought about calling back but glad I didn t! I google every unknown number that calls me now. As of late, I am getting unknown calls every other day. SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.
