Scam, this number has been calling non stop but never answered as it comes up as smap call, Anyway after another call ???????? I answered it. They started asking for my full name, address, bank ect ect which I would not give them, i asked to speak to a manager to say stop calling, they put me on hold, I wait 15mins before I gave up. This is 100% a scam trying to get all your details. Would not say what company they worked for. So they are blocked and cannot leave anymore voicemails.

Just had a call from this number, an asian lady called Kate Brown(???) who said that my IP address was being used by others around the world so they will be cancelling user licence on my IP address. The second option was they will talk me through how to block so I wont be compromised. Told her that I was computer illiterate and could she ring back later and speak to my hubby. I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Also, I had not received any notificat
When I don t recognise an incoming call, I now dont speak....and then I find that if it s a dodgy call the caller hangs up, also without speaking. This happened with this number this morning.

01706 314 xxxx seems to be a common number for pest callers. Sorry people of Rochdale but if you have a legitimate reason to call me you'll have to leave a message.

Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
