Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Man with an Asian accent said he was from my service provider 02 and when I said they're not my service provider he hung up. As I am registered with the TPS etc and it was a UK number I will try to report it. SPAM

They called pretending to be our internet provider and wanted to connect to our internet to see if there were any issues. When we declined and told them that we had a dedicated I.T department that dealt with that, they hung up.
Scam, automated call supposedly from Amazon Prime about the subscription..., goes on to say press 1 for... press 2 for..., yeah, like I am touching anything other than end call and blocking it, anyone who presses a number on the keypad according to such directions will undoubtably transfer you to a premium phone number costing £X's per minute, or some other way to scam money from you, ask yourself, would a multinational company be phoning from a normal phone code?

I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

This is the 3rd different number used by the same scammers. Unusual card transaction £300 & £1000. Odd they never tell whose card or what card and always sane amount. Need to be gulible to get conned by these numpties. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Never react to their suggestions. Dont be fooled.

SCAM Received a text from this number supposedly from Sky. It stated they were unable to take my payment this month and my services will be stopped. It even provided a link to update my details. I haven’t had Sky since 2007 so I hope they haven’t been able to take a payment! :D Don’t click on the link, it’s not Sky; it’s a scam looking to get your bank details.
