Received a call off a man claiming to be from a Sapphire in Cardiff, he told me I filled out a survey (which I have been doing recently) n because of this I m now lucky enough to win a free £20 voucher for fuel, he then went on to say that I only need to pay £1 for postage, he already had my name n address. Stupidly I gave over my bank details (long card number n expiry date) I did actually question him on the phone about why he needs my card details but he ensured me that it s all real n gave me his person

I had a call about a debt from virgin media. The amount im being asked to pay its not right. I wont pay anything

Recorded message claiming we were the object of a law suit from HMRC. Asked to press 1 to return call. Obviously ignored it. NB: Selected "Unknown" for "Type of call / reason for calling" as none of the options matched the nature of the call.

Asked for me by name and I said "who s calling" and he hung up

I was told to f... off when I said I had no knowledge of the accident that he had a report about.

Recorded message claiming to be about a fraud attempt on my tax account and instructing me to go to a link by pressing one. Obvious scam! Hung up and blocked number.

I answered this all on my mobile and they hung up immediately so I rang from a land line and was told by an automatic message that I had won vouchers and/or and Ipad. I was to receive a call shortly to complete a short lifestyle survey at which point I put the phone down as we know what these surveys are like!!!!

Calling me to follow up a PPI claim from a few weeks ago(which never happened) I didn t give them any details but they already knew a few things about me (name,home & mobile no. And what bank I use!) Asked me to give more info (card details, previous addresses) scam if I ever see one!!

I blocked this number after reading on a number of sites that they are a market research company. Don t believe their story that they do not have to comply with data screening /TPS lists etc. I do not think that their excuse we are not a marketing/sales company should excuse these people from TPS lists and private numbers They are unsolicited / cold callers. Presumably they are receiving payment for contacting people. Or are we to believe they are calling for the fun of it?. The public should not hav
