I am moving from BT because of horrific service. I received a short automated message from BT - stating that they were taking over my line. I called to query this. The guy who answered verified my number, but it was not my number. I told him it was not mine and he abruptly hung up. I called back - the second call handler couldn’t understand the situation and became annoyed and hung up. My phone rung again and it was a scam call centre from abroad offering to cover my washing machine but I was to pay today.
This number rang my mobile as soon as I answered the call, but did not say anything they cut the call at their end.
This was an unsolicited call. The caller claimed to be from the Pensions Advisory Service. He claimed I had not had a pension revue in over 12 months and that I was, therefore, due a pension revue. The Pensions Advisory Service do not make unsolicited calls. I hung up.

Unwanted call to my mobile. Continued to ask questions when asked to remove my number from their call list. Eventually hung up against my repeated request to remove my number.
