SCAM Claiming to be EE international, never heard EE call them themselves before. Tried to offer me an amazing deal on a iPhone 4, a phone that came out 10 years ago. Think I stick with my Google Pixel 6 thanks. When I asked to be taken off there call list the caller got aggressive and angry. Think he was mad because couldn't scam me.

'Lady' called to say she was from VISA & my card subject to misuse with total £1400 being taken (?) & to "Press 1" to speak to someone there to prevent funds being taken. Seems like a scam, so I rang the number direct & got through to someone who just slammed phone down. Fishy !!

The text message received from this number on 14/02/2024 at 12:13 simply read: "Got it (thumbs up emoji)" No other content and this number is not in my phone book nor was I expecting any messages like this from anyone. Caller was an Indian man giving the name of James from a “health” company- have had similar calls before from different numbers so obviously a call centre, want to know details of your vaccination status, etc, then ends up with a “life cover review” and asks you to accept new life cover from them. Caller did not like fact I knew this and I immediately said I am not looking to review my life cover, he told me to “grow up” and hung up!
