Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.

Banking, claim to be from my bank royal bank of scotland and jsut a courtesy call .could be genuine . however when i questioned why you calling from a mobile. he did get nervous told me i could call the bank and they would confirm it genuine
The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based, Indian company masking the no to a local city!!

Fraud number from a 'recruitment agency'. Do not entertain them they will entice you onto their scam website which makes you believe you're earning easy money. These are Chinese scammers, avoid.
I don’t know who they are but I will find them I have a very unique set of skills I will kill you. They are saying that they want to send free lottery tickets. Scam. They are a debt recovery agency trying to track down people with bad debt. I don’t do debt I owe no one anything how the hell they got my number is a mystery. Any I think they are a fraud. The number is now blocked. I thought there was a law against this sort of phone scam.

SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:02 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. This mobile number messaged me says I had missed my delivery and to log onto their link. I had not ordered anything and was not expecting anything, I believe this is a CON! Do not link on the link for them to gain access to any of your details or your mobile.
Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Got quite upset when I refused to give them the code
