Received a call from an unknown telephone number at 09 42 I was informed that a large amount of money had been taken from my current bank account and they wanted to know my security code etc . Today 12.11. 1.35pm have received a call from this number. Scottish Power guy start asking questions about who is my supplier for gas and energy and trying to persuade me to switch for saving money. The very noisy background at the other end and too many questions made me feel very suspicious. Hung up the phone and added the number to my blocked numbers list.

SCAM. Automated message claiming to be HMRC. Saying they had detected tax fraud in my name, but not mentioning my name, and that I had to press 1 or... at which point I hung up. I would expect if the HMRC were to call me they would ask for me by name.
