Why would a pizza shop in London phone a mobile in Birmingham ?
Same experience as others - I answer and say hello then calling party immediately clears the call. Happened circa 11.30 this morning then again at 14.30 this afternoon.
Doctors surgery left message to call them back on main number. You cannot return call to this number.
Whoever they are they keep phoning my mobile and when I don't answer they immediately call from a similar number. They are very slow to take the hint!

15 calls from them today, on both landline and mobile, I am totally fed up of Vanquis, they are totally unsympathetic to you, my wife has a serious illness and they don t care. I have about 20 different numbers that they call from, cant block them but at least can see its them calling.

Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Clue: You need people at YOUR end to speak to those who pick up. Amateurs!

Indian call center claiming to be O2 and offering me a 30% discount but also asking me to verify that I'm the owner of the phone by text even though they called me. They also wanted me to tell them how much I was paying per month so that they could discount it, if they are from O2 then why would they not know how much I'm paying already? It's a scam, clearly. No matter how much he tried to persuade me otherwise.
It's a accident claims company. Just total rubbish. Waste of time.

Woman phoned me and put me straight through to colleague after saying hello not even telling me who they was. Then the new guy answered and said I had come through to him as I was looking for compensation. he then proceeded to tell me I had rejected a payout offer from my recent car accident and he was part of the team to make sure I get compensation, I fell straight into the trap and gave him a fair few details he then sent an email asking for an E signature. This company is still at it but now calling off witheld numbers. I heard the words "accident" when I asked who they were. Told them never to call me again that my number was registered with Mobile Telephone Preference Service so therefore they should not be calling and that accessing my number from Gumtree for marketing calls was illegal before telling them to remove my number immediately or next time I will report them.
