This is apparently a genuine number for FedEx but it's been hi-jacked by a 'BT' scammer using a recorded message saying they've monitored suspicious activity. I cut the call then tried to dial 1471 but the line was still engaged and I had to try a couple more times before it cleared.

SCAM Been called from this number five times in three hours by an automated system claiming to be from Amazon and stating that I have bought a gadget. An obvious scam call, but an extremely irritating one given the frequency of the calls.
SCAM - I had a missed call & voicemail from this number. The voicemail was a recorded message in a male American voice asking to call back on the number. They called again, so I answered. Any annoying woman from Compare My Policy based in Manchester keeps calling to sell policies that I have never asked for nor am I interested in. 7 calls in one day 10:18 11:35 12:17 12:46 14:24 15:01 15:28 It is Adrian Flux, its from a call centre i rang back and destroyed the guy on the other end of the line. I have used them and always been happy but over 3 days ive had over 20 calls. would put me off ever using them again!! my insurance wasnt even up! I called this time a year ago inquiring for insurance for someone else in my family. after the first 3 calls today they would then only let it ring just under 2 rings!

Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. The only was they said they could take the payment was from a ukash voucher. Straight away sent alarm bella ringing. I would advise anyone to ignore this number.
