It is one of those days.....I have had three of these calls in one morning when exceptionally busy. Criminals make up these numbers - all fake and nearly always different - to call me to try to persuade me to fall for their story that there is something wrong with my computer or internet connection. Their aim is to persuade me to believe their lies and allow them to infect it with something that would be very serious if I fell for their story that they represent Talk Talk or B.T. It varies. Called every day now from a number beginning 0208 xxxxxx. This number 0208 275 4022 today. So many scam calls now I let every call go to the answerphone and just use the mobile, this is so persistent that I called back from mobile. There was no connection, tried the other niumbers beginning 0208 received in the last 7 days - BT recording saying numbers unrecognised, Have no idea if this is a scammer or genuine - but if its genuine they are doing a poor job as you cant call back.

Male with indian accent said he was from BT, then asked whether I was a BT customer, after asking him why he was calling me, he rang off. In my opinion it was a scam call.

They are a company of scammers who make money in various ways out of people who answer their calls. Do not answer their calls. Add 08005979840 to your phones blocked list.
Called by this number multiple times in 24 hours, answered twice, first hung up on me, last was harassing difficult to understand and shouting!
